• Types of Membership
• Active Membership:
• This membership shall consist of physicians who are medical directors, associate medical directors, assistant medical directors or medical consultants for insurance companies. Only full-time medical directors will be entitled to hold office or vote, however all active members may serve on committees, make nominations and otherwise exercise the rights of full membership.
• Affiliate Membership:
• This membership shall consist of individuals who have professional interest in insurance medicine such as underwriting, paramedical services, actuarial sciences and claims processing. They may not hold office or vote, but may be appointed to committees.
• Honorary Membership:
• This membership shall consist of individuals who have rendered distinguished service to insurance medicine. They may not hold office or vote, but may be appointed to committees.
